Terms of use of the game

Last updated: October 27, 2026

1. The game

LAN: Letters against Numbers is a free video game by Marco José López Vila for Android and the browser. By playing it you accept these terms; if you don't agree with them, don't use it.

2. Your account

  • The first time you open the game, a guest account is created that lives on that device or browser. If you link it with Google, your game is safe and you can get it back on any other.
  • If you play as a guest and uninstall the app or clear the browser's data, that progress cannot be recovered.
  • You can delete your account whenever you like: see Delete your account.

3. Fair play

The server replays every run to check it. You may not modify the game or its data, automate games with outside programs or exploit bugs to get ahead. Runs that fail the check don't count for leaderboards or give prizes, and we may reset or close accounts that cheat on purpose. If you find a bug, tell us: we will be grateful.

4. In-game currencies and items

Syllables, diphthongs, triptongs, letters, looks and trophies only exist inside the game: they have no money value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for anything outside it, and weekly prizes are paid in in-game currency only. We may adjust the game's balance in each version; our rule is never to take away what you have already earned.

5. Names and leaderboards

The game gives you a random name and you can change it a few times a month. Don't use names that are offensive, impersonate someone else or include personal data; if you do, we may replace it. Your name, your country and your best height show on the leaderboards.

6. Ads

In the Android app you can watch rewarded ads for rewards. They are always optional, and the reward is given when Google confirms you watched the whole ad.

7. Changes and availability

The game is free and offered as is. We will keep improving it, and now and then it may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If it ever stops being offered, we will announce it in the game in advance. If we change these terms, we will update the date above.

8. Liability

We take care that everything works, but we cannot promise the game is free of bugs. None of this limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any question or complaint: [email protected].
